flip & remix zine

 hello!!

in my last post, I made some cute painted papers out of unwanted drawings. in this post, im gonna show you how I turned them into a cool zine!!!

so a couple weeks ago I stumbled upon this instagram account (@artizineuk) who does a weekly zine challenge!!! I wanted to do this but I just hadn't gotten around to it for a while....but I thought I might use my painted papers to do this flip & remix zine. basically, this idea is just to make a bunch of little books within one, and you can mix and match the pages together!

so I had all these papers

(I was originally going to do little paintings on each of them with paint markers, so I made this:)

but I wanted to do that flip & remix zine....and these papers would make excellent pages.
I cut them into sort-of even pieces and hole punched them with the only hole punch I could find -- this cute lil flower one!
I made a cardstock cover
& started stringing the pages together with some bracelet cord
since I used Used paper for this zine, there's random bits of old drawings on a lot of these pages!! which I think is neat.
this is what it looks like closed.

I doodled a little, added some wash tape pieces, and scribbled on some pages.
it is not quite done (there's a LOT of pages to fill) but that's the basic idea.

have a good day ✨
